C.E. Jackson is a Washington, DC based attorney and international relations expert who focuses on the partnership between the United State and sub-Saharan Africa. She analyzes strategies, policy and programs that promote sustainable economic growth as a means to reduce poverty. Ms. Jackson is especially proud of her advocacy and accomplishments regarding women’s empowerment in Africa, as a means to put an end to gender-based violence and impunity.

She is a travel ethusiast and global citizen and enjoys learning about world cultures and also enjoys engaging in robust dialogue centered on the interplay between world affairs and pop culture. Ms. Jackson has traveled to approximately, at least 25 countries within recent years for both work and play. Her mantra… “when is the next trip, I’m packed already!!!” She is passionate about inspiring others, especially young people to travel as a means to gain perspective on how they can impact our world.

Also, she is a foodie who likes to eat spicy foods from different nations and she enjoys foreign and independent cinema. She indulges in every opportunity to patron the performing arts and can be found attending performances at The Kennedy Center of Performing Arts and regional theatre, as well as on Broadway. Besides the “high” arts, she enjoys exploring other creative energy through cultural dance classes, gallery openings, fashion shows, and live music sets. She is currently re-learning French and will soon take up Mandarin. Also, she spends time building her new stock/option trading portfolio, giving back to charitable causes and participating in community service activities. She served as a Community Board member for the Washington Middle School for Girls, a member of the Young Professional Group of Covenant House Washington, DC and a member of Smithsonian Young Benefactors.

Ms. Jackson earned a B.A. from American University, M.S. from Syracuse University and the J.D. of Syracuse Univerity College Law. She is a member of the New Jersey Bar (inactive). She has written on the topics of arts and culture under a pen name for 360 Magazine and is working on material for other publications. She public speaks on a regularly basis and serves as a contributor to The New School radio talk show on the Politics In the United States (POTUS) channel on Sirius/XM.
